Each vignette is reproduced based on the original woodcuts done by Reuben Hedlock, as originally published in the LDS periodical Times and Seasons in 1842 (numbering contained in the publication of the facsimiles has been removed from the images to provide a more authentic reproduction of the facsimiles as they existed prior to original publication).
